We are pleased to announce that Peter Hudson, opera lecturer, music reviewer and exhibition organiser, will be a special guest lecturer on board Cruise and Maritime's latest ship, MV Discovery, for cruises D323, Iconic Iberia, departing 14th September 2013  and D324, Mediterranean Odyssey, departing 25th September 2013. 

 

Peter will be presenting a series of in depth lectures on the 20th century's greatest opera singer and actress, the legendary Maria Callas.

 

2013 is the 90th anniversary of the birth of this great lady, which also coincides with the 200th anniversary of the composer, Verdi.

 

The two cruises will be especially interesting to clientele who appreciate all aspects of opera and 'La Callas'.
